Melissa grew up in West London starting off as a dancer, her love of acting soon followed, and she spent her first few professional years on stage. She played Brigitta in The Sound of Music, & also appeared in Cavalcade at the famous Sadlers Wells Theatre at the age of 12.

After winning a scholarship to Sylvia Young Theatre School, Melissa was asked to dance for Pop stars Billie Piper and Cleopatra, however she had begun to make the transition into Television and had found her true passion.

Melissa worked solidly as a Teen actress with roles in Benidorm, Casualty, UGETME & many other but was best known for playing Rosie Mole in Adrian Mole - The Cappuccino Years.

More recently she has had roles in Primetime Emmy & Bafta Award winning 'I May Destroy You' for HBO & Bafta winning Top Boy for Netflix.

You can currently catch Melissa in feature film KRAYS: Code of Silence, playing 'Jack the Hats' wife Sylvia McVitie on SKY STORE & other streaming platforms.
She has just wrapped on Feature film 'Three Day Millionaire' playing one of the leads Demi alongside, Colm Meaney, Robbie Gee & Jonas Armstrong which is due to be released late 2022 as well as Horror film Kronin which sees Melissa playing lead role of Sara.
