Isobel Steele
Isobel (Izzy) Steele is an actor and musician born in Manchester. After signing with a modelling agency & a boutique acting agency in the Northern Quarter, she immediately started working. Landing roles in
BBC dramas, series and a BFI funded short film from 2012-2015.
At 14, Isobel landed a series regular on Emmerdale playing “Liv” alongside the Dingles. Balancing work and school was a challenge at times but she took it in her stride. Learning everything she knows from the actors around her, she was trusted to tackle tough storylines alone and grow as an actor.
Isobel went on to win Best Newcomer at the TV times in 2016 and Best Young Actor at the Soap Awards and TV times in 2018.
At the end of 2022, Isobel made the decision to leave Emmerdale. Leaving on a high with a huge stunt week exit on the 50th anniversary of the show.
She is so excited to be working with DMA and can’t wait to meet all of the participants.
